vSun 1.11 for S60v3 phones released

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Rom directory:
(1) If you install vSun on phone memory, you can put your roms into the directory "\Others\vSun"(in fact, it is "\data\Others\vSun",but only "data" directory is visible in phone memory if you use file manager of Nokia)
(2) If you install vSun on memory card, you can put your roms into the directory "\data\Others\vSun"

Note:

You may need to do the following steps in order to allow your phone to install vSun:

1) Open Application Manager
2) Choose Options-> Settings
3) Switch Software installation to *All* (not Certified only)
This will allow you to install non-certified applications.

it is really nice to see transparency

It loaded most of the games I used to play on ngage except Chronotrigger. it loads the save states from the old version too which is also welcome!

I couldn't test the sound yet because I'm at work but will give it a go later.

Thats great news . Have you found a work around for the N93 bug or did you contact Nokia about this problem, so there´s any chance that it becomes fixed in the future ? Its such a shame that a phone with such an amazing hardware is unable to play games properly ..

I`m UNABLE to see anything at all while playing!!!!! WHAT`S WRONG??????

I`m using a N93 and Vsun 1.1 nor Vnes 1.61 worksas should. I can hear sound BUT the whole screen is mixed up EXCEPT if a pause.

Please help!!!!!!

i have sound but the screen is @|#{#{#@ except in a pause !!!!

To get a speed up on N73 enable Offline profile. This way i can play Chronotrigger AND listen to mp3's at the same time. (i've disabled sound in vSun because its just shitty squeaking anyway )

N93 users please download these install files again. We have updated these files. We provide a substitute method to solve this problem. In the menu, n93 users should set "Graph"->"Output" as "Bitmap" ( it is default for n93 users). The "Bitmap" method is a little slower than "Direct" method...But there is a display bug for n93 users to use "Direct" method-_-

Zelda => very slow with full sound and with smart is a little slow and without sound it's great

starfox => work only in the menu a training phase

bomberman => work great

secret of mana3 => work but a little slow

mario kart => work great without sound but we can't see the oter player !!!!

in conclusion very good job !-)

There are some bugs with transparencies (at least on Nokia N73). Check the color of the sky in Donkey Kong Country...

N73 complaint: there are a few (10?) pixels missing on the right side in Orig display mode. In Full display mode everything looks awfull so i dont bother with that.

As a "regular customer" (I bought vNes and vBoy back in the days when I had my 6600, and I bought vNes again for my N93), I would like to request something... Could you please point out to Nokia that the N93 has a silly keypress-bug, that prevents it from being used for your great emulators? I'd be very grateful indeed if you would. Cheers!

I've been missing for a month or so and it's like I've missed everything!

So now I guess people will be more than happy to have their favorite emulators on their 3rd edition phones! Too bad I will have to stick with my N70 for some more time, as from the replies I'm seeing, the newer phones seem to be able to run vSun better than usual, right?

Anyway, sorry for being away for so long, but I've recently started university and I haven't had much time to check on the net for things other than university work. BTW, I'm studying audiovisual communications in Pamplona (Spain) and I have already entered a 3D animation movie producer called Euroview. I'll help finish their current movie and once that one is done, we'll be starting a new one from scratch, with me as a producer assistant. That movie will be released WORLDWIDE

A game like Mario Kart would almost be unplayble according to me if you can't accelerate and turn at the same time. Or have you found a solution to this button problem??? And what does cr8825 mean by "update of nokia"? is that some kind of fix?

...by saying "IT WORKS GREAT WITH N93" I meant the speed of the game. Compared to other symbian phones, it works flawlessly. Including not being able to press the two buttons at the same time. I agree that it`s a big problem in many games but compared to not being able to play them at all or at such a slow speed it almost not work, I find it GREAT.

BTW, Nokia HAS in their new FW, (20.something), solved the "two buttons problem"). YIIIIIIIIIIIHAAAAA!!!!

Then I MUST buy it!!!
